TextImage

Overview
The TextImage WebPage is supplied with all editions of BackStage. It is by default a public page and provides the ability to add text and images to the page including the top banner.  It will be most of use to orchestras which currently have no internet presence and hence wish to create an entire website from BackStage WebPages.  By default it's address is <YourOrchestraName>.2434.com.  However, orchestras that want to build their entire website from BackStage WebPages can point their own domain name at our servers instead.

The BackStage account holder(s) and Staff members have the ability to edit the page and add any text or images they wish (see below).

Editing

Overview
Users with edit rights will see a little triangle in the top left corner.  Clicking on it will change the view into the page you see above and allow the user to simply add text and images and then click 'upload'.  It's that simple.  The control is in fact extremely powerful and will even allow the upload of flash images or, for those of you who do understand HTML, the page can be edited from it's raw code if you prefer including cutting and pasting ready built web pages from other locations although all image paths must of course be reset.
