BACKSTAGE MOBILE PERSONNEL PAGE

Overview
The PERSONNEL PAGE is the fifth and final page in BackStage Mobile and is similar to the
PERSONNEL page in the desktop BackStage.  It allows players to be booked for any PROJECT.

Summary of numbered items

  1. PERSONNEL LISTBOX - Displays list of all players required on PROJECT and their position (SECTION [NUMBER].)  Select and view their booking information (see below.)

    1. POSITION, RANK AND INSTRUMENT(S) TEXTBOX -  Shows the position to that is being edited, the rank of that position and the instruments required.
    2. PLAYER DROPDOWN LIST -  Allows you to alter the selected player.  This list contains all players from the BackStage  address book that play the instruments needed.  (i.e. if the position required both oboe and cor anglais, then the list will only contain players that play both those instruments.)
    3. CITY, NOTES, FEE & EXPENSES TEXTBOXS -  Displays booking-city for selected player if set, notes entered against a player, their fee based on the rank of the player, any additional fees and tax & benefits percentages applied as set in the PAYMENTS page and their expenses based on the expenses set in the PAYMENTS page including the booking-city for this player (if set.)
    4. STATUS DROPDOWN LIST - Select the status to apply to this player from DEFAULT PLAYER/VACANCY, LEFT MESSAGE, AGREED, SENT CONTRACT or CONFIRMED.  BackStage considers all players with the status of AGREED, SENT CONTRACT or CONFIRMED to be confirmed from the point of view of altering the user to any changes in their attendance due to changes in the repertoire required for different sessions.
    5. CONTACT DROPDOWN LIST -  Displays the contact details for the selected player.  # Selecting telephone numbers or SMS messaging will bring up the default service for your operator and not sent through the 2434.com SMS gateway as with the desktop version of BackStage. However, SMS texts sent from the mobile are still logged and hence viewable by all BackStage users when the mobile data is uploaded to the desktop.

    6. CONTACT NOTES - Allows details of contact with this player to be logged.  # Scrollbar present to allow mobile keyboard not to obscure textboxes.

    7. DATETIME TEXTBOX (automatically generated) - records the date and time that the CONTACT NOTES textbox (o) was altered (see below.)
    8. UNAVAILABLE CHECKBOX -  If a player is rung and then found to be unavailable for this PROJECT, this can be recorded to prevent other members of the management team ringing the same player twice.
