Overview
The Output page allows you to print, upload or else output and save the information that has been entered into BackStage for this PROJECT.

Summary of numbered items

  1. SELECT LISTBOX - Select any number of players to view, edit or print and save their contracts, pay advice notes, personal schedules, general letters or communicate via email or SMS.
  2. SESSION DROPDOWN LIST - Select a particular session or else select ALL to view and print seating lists (both overall and specific to each piece of repertoire) and personnel lists (alphabetic and gender)
  3. SEATING BUTTON - Click VIEW to display seating list for selected session.  Seating list can be for whole PROJECT, overall list for session of else particular seating for each piece of repertoire on each session.  This reflects settings made on INSTRUMENTS page and ATTENDANCE page.

    1. Select repertoire or else ALL to display either overall seating list for session or else seating list for repertoire for this session.
    2. Displays all players in correct chair for repertoire in this session and colours them grey if they were expected to be on but are not with an [attendance code] next to them.  (see c.) 
    3. Index of attendance codes showing reason why certain players are not present.
    4. PRINT and PRINT PREVIEW BUTTONS.
    5. Presence of ++ next to a player signifies that doubling instruments are required and index shows what they are for each player.
  4. SCHEDULE BUTTON - Click VIEW to edit and print general schedule for PROJECT.
  5. PERSONNEL LIST BUTTON - Click VIEW to edit and print alphabetical list for PROJECT or selected session.  Players and personnel can be added or deleted from this list and information entered beside their names.  (i.e. hotel room lists.)

    1. PRINT CHECKBOX - Select which players to display in the list.  By default personnel list shows all players in the PROJECT.
    2. ADD BUTTON - Allows other names to be added.  (Added manually and so not restricted to personnel in the Address book.
    3. PRINT and PRINT PREVIEW BUTTON
    4. TEXTBOX - Add text next to relevant players.
  6. ACCOUNTS BUTTON - Click SAVE TO to save a complete list of every payment recorded for this PROJECT which are saved to a .csv file which can be opened by any spread sheet or uploaded into an accounts package.
  7. WEBSITE BUTTON - Click UPLOAD to upload all schedule details from this PROJECT including all seating lists for all repertoire on all sessions to a web page hosted on our web servers.  The web page is password protect for users of BackStage Professional and BackStage Enterprise.  This button also updates any number of Google Apps calendars owned by the Orchestra.
  8. GENDER BUTTON - Click VIEW to edit and print gender list for PROJECT or selected session.  Players and personnel can be added or deleted from this list and information entered beside their names.  (i.e. dressing room lists.)
  9. SMS BUTTON - Click VIEW to edit and send a bulk SMS to all selected players.  This service requires and internet connection and that the orchestra has enough SMS credit (pre-paid for on their BackStage SMS WebPage) to allow all the SMS messages to be sent.  Credit is instantly deducted and then recredited if any of the messages could not be delivered because the number did not exist.
  10. EMAIL BUTTON - Click VIEW to send a bulk email to all selected members of the PROJECT.  The VIEW button brings up a dialog box that allows the user to enter a subject for the email which is logged by BackStage allowing the email to be found again by search if needed.  The email is sent through the users default email client and all email addresses to recipients are hidden.
  11. LETTER BUTTON - Click VIEW to edit and print a bulk letter to all selected players.  Names and addresses are automatically added so that letters can be simply sent using 'window' envelopes.
  12. SCHEDULE BUTTON - Click VIEW to edit and print personal schedules for selected players.  Fields can be removed as with contract (14.)  Schedules do not contain any payment information.
  13. PAY ADVICE NOTE BUTTON - Click VIEW to edit and print a pay advice note.  Fields can be removed as with contract (14.)  Pay advice note displays the same fields as the contract although orchestras will probably chose to display different ones and these fields will be based on the actual player attendance and chair positions rather than the anticipated ones as for a contract.
  14. CONTRACT BUTTON - Click VIEW to edit and print a contract.  Fields can be removed (see below.)

    1. ORCHESTRAL ADDRESS - Displayed by default but can select not to print to allow use of letterheaded paper.
    2. ADDRESS OF PLAYER - Added to each contract at height to allow paper to be folded and inserted into standard window envelopes.
    3. TEXTBOXES - Allows entry of text to start middle and end of contract.
    4. PRINT CHECKBOXES - Select which fields to display for overview and specific session details.  By default all are displayed and printed right down to chair position of each player on each piece of repertoire for each session.
    5. PRINT, PRINT PREVIEW or SAVE contract.
