RESTORE MENU ITEM

Overview
The RESTORE menu item allows the user to completely restore and overwrite their current BackStage files with the files they have stored on our web servers.  This will completely overwrite all PROJECTS with what ever has been previously saved and is not the same as synchronising data which is the process used by our multi-user solution.  It provides a mechanism where by, if for any reason your files get corrupted (possibly due to a virus) or possibly your computer gets stolen, the user can get back their files from our web servers (an internet connection must be available.)

We strongly recommend that users backup their data to our web servers on a regular basis since this will ensure that their restore files are as up-to-date as possible.

As well as this, we can not as a company get involved in solving problems with users machines should they occur that are not directly concerned with BackStage.  In consequence, if users do suffer problems with their computers that prevent BackStage running, downloading or upgrading, we will simply recommend that they uninstall and then reinstall BackStage and then restore their files from our web server.
